     We are an independent Directory of contractor listings.  We are not project managers and are not in partnership with any of the contractors listed, except that they have paid a fee to be listed on thosegoodguys.com.

     Prior to listing any contractor, they have agreed to a prescreening process which will include one or more sources.  As a rule we do not review any contractor after the original prescreening.  If it is brought to our attention, in writing by certified mail that there is an unsolved problem with a particular contractor, and that a report h as been filed with the State of Florida and the Better Business Bureau, at that time we may at our discretion review the prescreening process for that particular contractor, though we have no obligation to do so as we have no relationship with the contractors listed on our site, other than their listing.  We recognize the fact that it is the State of Florida that must correct and otherwise deal with those who do business in the State of Florida as contractors in an inappropriate way.  We believe our initial prescreening process will eliminate the vast majority of the problems you might have faced with out the process.

     It is recommended that there is always a contract between the customer and the contractor.  It should list in detail the work to be done, material to be used, timeframe in which it is to be done, if any subcontractors will be used, if so, who and for what portion of the job and finally how much it will cost and what the terms of payment will be.  Get business cards and know who is on your job.

     We recommend YOU verify licensing, insurance and ask for reference AND CHECK THEM OUT!

    Our site is FREE to use with absolutely no obligation on the consumers part.  The information is on an as is basis.  We make no guarantee or warranty as to the accuracy or the possibility of a type-o or other error.

     It is agreed to by all, who use thosegoodguys.com whether as an advertiser, contractor or consumer that thosegoodguys.com shall bear no responsibility for any work done or requested to be done, or products offered.  Each party listed is acting on their own behalf and no employee or either shall be deemed to be in the employ of the other.  Nor, shall either party have any right or authority to act on the behalf of the other beyond that which is expressly granted herein.

     Contractors and advertisers agree to maintain the proper bonding, licensing, and insurance as needed for each project performed, and are urged to notify thosegoodguys.com of any changes in bonds, licenses or insurance status so we may update our files for future references, though it is not a requirement after the initial prescreening. All parties listed herein agree to defend indemnify and hold thosegoodguys.com inc. harmless from and against any claims, charges, demands or liability of any kind arising out of any work performed or products offered for sale without limitation by any customer, consumer, contractor, subcontractor, supplier, agent or employee thereof.

Force Majeure:

     The provider (thosegoodguys.com) will not be held liable in any amount for failure to perform any obligation under this agreement if such failure is caused by internet disruptions, power outages, unauthorized access, hacking, fire, flood, earthquake, war, insurrection, acts of God, or any type of communications disruption or interruption and any and all other events beyond the reasonable control of thosegoodguys.com, inc.

     By using this contractor directory site you agree to indemnify and hold harmless thosegoodguys.com, inc., it’s subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, agents, co-branders, advertisers and other partners from any and all claims or demands, including attorney’s fees, made by any third party due to or arising from the use of thosegoodguys.com.  You further acknowledge that the services provided to you are on an “as is” basis, with no warranties or guarantees expressed, implied or given by thosegoodguys.com.
